This internship was part of a Sustainathon project for MediMarket, where our goal was to develop a prediction tool for their warehouse. By optimizing how products were packed, we aimed to reduce wasted space and improve overall shipment efficiency.
Throughout the internship, I gained valuable experience working within a team. From daily scrums to weekly meetings with stakeholders, I learned how to collaborate effectively and communicate project progress. Initially, we found the project challenging due to limited knowledge of the warehouse operations. However, after diving deeper into the requirements and receiving a guided tour of the MediMarket warehouse, we gained a clearer understanding of the entire process.
In the end, our efforts paid off. We delivered a refined solution that we proudly presented at ACA Group’s Sustainathon event. The project was built using Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Spring Boot, allowing us to create a robust and efficient tool that met MediMarket’s needs.
